OUR BASEMENT REMODELING PROCESS
Initial Consultation
Once we determine your basement remodeling project is a good fit for our company, we schedule a free onsite consultation. During this meeting, we review your space, discuss your goals, and explain our remodel process in detail.
Design
If you decide to move forward, we begin the design phase. This includes an in-depth design meeting so our team can create your initial layout. Using technology like Canvas for digital space scans and REVIT for construction drawings and and high end 3D renderings, you’ll be able to see exactly what your new basement will look and feel like before construction starts.
Estimate
After the design is finalized, we provide a detailed, multi-page construction estimate. Every cost is clearly outlined, including optional upgrades, so you can make informed decisions about your project.
Build
Once the construction contract is signed, we order your selections and store them safely until the scheduled start date. Your dedicated project consultant takes over at this stage, coordinating the in-house crew and managing every detail to ensure a smooth, high-quality build.
Walkthrough
After construction is complete, we address any remaining punch list items and schedule professional photography of your finished basement. Once closeout is finished, it’s time to enjoy your newly remodeled, fully functional living space!

Thank you LRS!!! During the COVID Pandemic in 2021, we requested 6 contractors to give us BIDs on our project for a remodel & upgrade in an unfinished area of our basement. The original area had a small bathroom & a large unfinished laundry room. We chose Lifetime Remodeling Systems (LRS). LRS is also a registered contractor with the City of Portland FIR Program permit process. This made an impression on us as this registration means we had expedited document reviews & inspections.
