This is a major remodel project that we finished last fall. This project includes the following;
- Removal of existing brick siding
- Repairing major structural dry rot including jacking up the house to replace the bottom plates, major structural beams as well as the replacement of exterior sheathing and studs
- Installation of insulation on all exterior walls
- Installation of cedar window and door trim
- Electrical and plumbing upgrades
- Siding the home with smooth Hardieplank lap siding and Red Balau vertical hardwood siding
- Painting the entire home with Miller Evolution
- New front entry door
- New 6k “high-capacity” gutter system
This project really showcases our ability to tackle large, complex projects and our ability to manage them effectively through expert project management and skilled installers. Other companies would have been hamstrung by the large amount of dry rot that was discovered and unable to handle the repair. We were able to provide a quote for the repairs within 2 working days and didn’t miss a beat switching from the siding portion of the project to full dry rot repair which took a full 9 days to complete. We have just completed the dry rot repairs and are now continuing to work on the siding portion of the project.
The project is now finished and we would like to thank the wonderful homeowner’s Stacey and Seth who were fantastic to work with throughout the entire project.
