What is ClimaTech 2?

Double Low E Glass: Low E is a microscopic covering on each pane of glass that deflects heat to where it is coming from. This means that heat on the outside stays outside in the summer, and heat on the inside stays inside in the winter.

Low-E glass filters long-wave radiation. This reduces heat gain in your home from the sun in the summer, keeping your home cooler.

Low-E takes on a new duty in winter months. It lets warm solar rays into your home while blocking the heat in your home from getting out.

Argon Filled Panes: Between our two panes of LowE covered glass, is a gas called argon. Argon gas is proven to improve energy efficiency by 30% over air filled panes.

PPG Warm Edge Spacer: Our stainless steel spacer system is rigid, yet has built in flexibility ( not a seperate sealant) allowing it to expand and contract with the window. Low end spacers are made of aluminum and are sealed with a seperate sealant which will fail over time due to expansion and contraction from heat and cold.
